Neoma continued living in Wenatchee until moving back to Issaquah in 2003 to be closer to her family. In 2012, she moved to assisted living in Newcastle, where she was living at the time of her passing. During the time she lived in Issaquah, she was a member of the Community Baptist Church and served as president of the Women’s Mission Society as well as president of the Seattle Area Baptist Women’s Mission Society.
