
Maureen Cleo LeFevre
Maureen Cleo LeFevre, of Sammamish, died Jan. 29, 2013. She was 61 years old.
Maureen was born Sept. 10, 1951 in Seattle, the daughter of John Murray and Marilyn Besanceney. She was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and attended West High School in Anchorage, Alaska. While in Anchorage, she married Chuck LeFevre on May 11, 1985. In 1986, she moved to Sammamish. For the past seven years, she was also a part-time resident of Phoenix, Ariz.
During her life, Maureen worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years. In her spare time, she was an avid gardener, a talented decorator, a playful grammy, and put her energy into holidays, family time, experimenting with new recipes and volunteering.
Maureen in survived by her father John Murray; siblings Sheila (Tim) Anderson, of Ohio, Tim (Pam) Murray, of Alaska, Michael (Pam) Murray, of Alaska, Bob Besanceney, of Kansas, and Annette (Al) Wilson, of California; husband Chuck LeFevre; daughters Tina (Erik) Dunn, Shelley O’Dell, Stephanie (Gary) Burkhart and Alisha (Jon) Gosline; and four grandchildren, Mary, Hannah, Cameron and Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her brother Duane Murray, mother Marilyn Besanceney and stepmother Dee Murray.
A time of visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Flintoft’s Issaquah Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be said at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. A reception will follow at Sahalee Country Club.
