On Saturday, April 13, 2013, Kent Stepaniuk passed away in his sleep after a brief but valiant fight against cancer.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life of 44 years, Gretchen; two sons, Brian and Scott; along with his two beloved grandchildren Mallory and Leland; and his two daughters-in-law, Melissa and Kristin.

He was preceded in death by his eldest son Stephen.
Born May 6, 1947, in Beausejour, Manitoba, my father lived a full and complete life riding his Harley, traveling the world and raising a family. After moving to the U.S., he met his future bride at 16 and the two have been inseparable ever since.
My father graduated from Washington State University in 1970 and then ran his own business for more than 20 years, retiring in 1999. Having a special gift of being able to speak with anyone from any walk of life, my father made many friends throughout his life. His love and devotion to his family and friends is unmatched. His guidance, love and support will be dearly missed.
